Competition format
Best three rounds count
- Four rounds from September to December 2026.
- Each player records a Stableford points total for every round played.
- The lowest round is dropped after all four rounds.
- Power Cards are limited-use and affect competition points only.
- The highest best-three total wins the Mini Major.
Round 1 is September, Round 2 is October, Round 3 is November and Round 4 is December.
A player's three highest round-point totals are added together. The remaining round is the dropped result.
A missed round records 0 points. That 0 may be dropped if it is the player's lowest result.
Guests may appear in round results and may win a round or monthly MVP. Guests do not receive season points or Power Cards unless they become confirmed season players before their first round.
Scoring system
Stableford points
| Hole result | Points | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Double bogey or worse | 0 | Zero remains zero under any multiplier. |
| Bogey | 1 | One point before any declared Power Card modifier. |
| Par | 2 | Two points before any declared Power Card modifier. |
| Birdie | 3 | Three points before any declared Power Card modifier. |
| Eagle | 4 | Four points before any declared Power Card modifier. |
| Hole in one | 5 | Five points before any declared Power Card modifier. |
The highest Stableford points total wins the round. Gross strokes are used only for tie-breaks.
No handicaps are used for the published Mini Major standings unless a future public rules update says otherwise.
Ties are broken by lowest gross strokes, then most birdies, then most pars, then countback from the final hole.
Power Cards
Final card set
Use this final card set for printed cards and scorekeeping.
Lock-In
Declare one hole before teeing off. Stableford competition points on that hole are doubled.
- Declare
- Before teeing off on the chosen hole.
- Limit
- One Lock-In per player per round.
- Zero or negative
- Zero stays 0. Stableford has no negative hole points.
- Interaction
- Cannot combine with Boost, Mulligan or Void Hole on the same hole.
Boost
Declare one hole before teeing off. Stableford competition points on that hole receive a 1.5x multiplier.
- Declare
- Before teeing off on the chosen hole.
- Limit
- One Boost per player per round.
- Rounding
- Fractions are rounded down to the nearest whole point.
- Interaction
- Cannot combine with Lock-In, Mulligan or Void Hole on the same hole.
Mulligan
Replay one shot. The original shot is cancelled and the replayed shot becomes the live ball.
- When
- After seeing the shot result, before the next shot is played.
- Limit
- One front-nine Mulligan and one back-nine Mulligan per player per round.
- Not allowed
- Cannot be used on a hole with Lock-In, Boost or Void Hole active.
- Penalty shots
- Cannot cancel an already declared penalty or a completed drop.
Void Hole
The eligible last-place player secretly selects one hole. On reveal, only that player keeps competition points for the selected hole.
- Eligibility
- Available from Round 2 onward to the player lowest on the season standings entering the round. If tied for last, each tied player is eligible.
- Selection
- The secret hole is written down before the round and revealed after all scorecards are submitted.
- Scoring
- All other players receive 0 competition points for that hole. The user receives their normal Stableford points only.
- Scope
- Affects competition points only. Gross score, penalties and countback still use the real hole score.
Rules and clarifications
Round rules
One marker in each group records gross score, Stableford points, Power Cards used and penalties before the card is submitted.
Every hole must be completed. Putts are holed out unless the group confirms a rule exception before the round.
If a ball does not leave the tee box, the player may re-hit once for free. If it fails to leave the tee box a second time, play it as it lies.
A ball in an unplayable position may be moved one club length no closer to the hole. If still unplayable, take a drop with a +1 stroke penalty.
The player furthest from the hole plays first on the green. Rake bunkers, repair divots and keep pace with the group ahead.
Late arrival at the agreed tee time or late payment before play begins may each add a -1 competition-point penalty for that round.
